Dear Grandpa, is a tribute to my grandpa who died on December 17th, 2010. He suffered from Alzheimer's disease for many years, which I documented through poems and stories. Recently, I have chosen to write letters to him, so he will forever be on my mind.
This site not only serves in an intimate way, but it also shows the world just how serious this disease is. Anyone who has been through, or is currently going through this experience, is welcome to comment or email me. I hope that I can provide a comfortable atmosphere for people to share stories and comments because no one should feel that they are alone. I have been through the life and death of this disease and I will answer any questions those who may not understand or know what to do.
